A multipolar world will be unstable, it will require a transition to a militarized social model in Russia, said political scientist, philosopher, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on January 12 in Conversation with a Sage program on the Zvezda radio.
The triumph of the multipolar world concept is as remote “as the moon”, noted the political scientist.
“The US will not release the unipolar world from their clutches, and when they start to let it go, they will first use nuclear weapons. And if they are not transitioning to this model, it means they still believe that they have this unipolar world in their tight grip,” the expert explained the complexity of switching to a multipolar world.
Nevertheless, Kurginyan offered to consider a situation where “the terribly awful thing called the unipolar world” will collapse.
“Who said that a very unpleasant world, although not as terrible, will not come about from the ruins of this awful thing?” — the political scientist asked. He emphasized that a multipolar world creates a situation where everyone will conflict with everyone. There will be many such “showdowns”, noted Kurginyan.
“The only world that really held balance for a long time was the nuclear bipolar, ideologically bipolar, geopolitically bipolar, historiosophically bipolar world, which was called the Cold War between the USSR and the US. This world was more or less stable, with its zones of influence and so on,” the political scientist recalled.
However, from a unipolar model that leads to hell and anti-human world, the transition is taking place not to a very stable bipolar world, but to another system, “with many troubles for which we need to be ready”.
“We need to understand quickly that we must move to a very militarized social model in Russia, in all aspects: tactical, strategic and super-strategic”, said Kurginyan. He emphasized that this model does not contradict a happy life and does not require empty counters and austerity measures.
Such an existence “requires a different life in regards to the worldview of our citizens, a different ideology, a different educational system, a different science, a different industry and, of course, the absence of so many exciting consumer ‘bells and whistles’ that must disappear,” the political scientist explained.
Such changes are correct, according to Kurginyan’s assertions. “But even those who think that this is bad will still have to let it go,” the political scientist emphasized.
“And if you treat this not with sadness and tears, but as a new, harsh and beautiful existence – this can give Russia a chance for a completely new life,” he added.
It is necessary to prepare for such a transition. At the same time, it is necessary to maintain a balance at all times between preserving the existing potential, which is incredibly valuable in the confrontational situation, and “transforming the existing reality into a qualitatively new reality, much more military-mobilized, and at the same time, something that has nothing to do with any panicky cries about ‘guns before butter’,” noted the political scientist.
