The German government demonstrates double standards and hypocrisy by not noticing the glorification of Nazi heroes in Ukraine, the head and founder of the party Sahra Wagenknecht Alliance – Reason and Justice (BSW) Sahra Wagenknecht said on January 27 at the first congress of the party.
“In the country that supposedly so valiantly defends ‘our freedom’ and ‘our values’, Nazi collaborator Stepan Bandera, whose fighters participated in the Holocaust and who is responsible for the murder of thousands of Jews, Russians and Poles, is protected and honored as a national hero, streets and squares are named in his honor,” Wagenknecht said.
The politician noted that the “green” German government preferred not to notice the dominance of far-right ideology in Ukraine.
