Kurginyan: Xi Jinping will unite China

22.01.2024, Aleksandrovskoye.

Xi Jinping intends to unite China and Taiwan during his lifetime, said philosopher, political analyst, theater director, and leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan in the program “Objectivno” on the Belarusian TV channel ONT on January 10.

Sergey Kurginyan noted that the US can no longer dictate its will everywhere and “create armed forces, which in five or six spots will be American hands to clean up the chaos“.

The US is stretched thin in two conflicts and so far has no intention of getting involved in a third one, so Washington can tolerate a lot of things, including a Kuomintang Party victory in Taiwan.

The following is said: ‘And what, exactly, makes the Kuomintang so different from the Communist Party of China?’ By the way, everyone has forgotten Stalin’s quite challenging words that: ‘I know of no man capable of uniting China except Generalissimo Chiang Kaishi.’ Therefore, in essence, the Communist Party of China has long ago taken the path of the Kuomintang,” explained the leader of the Essence of Time.

However, according to the political analyst, China’s integration with Taiwan will be hindered by various factors – the United States, as well as various interests: domestic, elite, deep-rooted self-interest and others.

Xi Jinping intends to realize this integration in his lifetime, this is beyond any doubt in my mind. In this sense, this is a very major figure, very special – to the question of whether leaders are nominated by nations. This is not only about Belarus or Russia – it concerns everybody,” Kurginyan said.

He added that Xi Jinping does not want to die as just another ruler. He wants to create something that makes him a man on the scale of Mao Zedong. And that something is reunification.

The Chinese will go towards it with their specific style: tiny step by step, with endless cautious looks back, very cautious, very persistent, very merciless – the way the three-, or maybe five-, seven-thousand-year-old Chinese culture dictates,” the political scientist explained.
