The West will surely find the money for Ukraine despite all the disagreements because too much is at stake, according to the report from the theater of war in The Essence of Time newspaper, Issue 567.
The EU is preparing a plan for up to €20 billion in aid to Ukraine to circumvent Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s blockades. The exact terms of the plan are still under discussion.
The EU is the first donor in terms of aid to Ukraine. It allocated $19.93 billion in 2023, followed by the USA with $10.9 billion and Japan, which allocated $3.7 billion to Ukraine.
“One way or another, the West will find money for Ukraine, too much is at stake to leave the Ukrainian armed units to fight Russia alone, dooming them to defeat,” The Essence of Time editorial reads.
