Kurginyan explains why the fate of a Russian emigre is especially bitter

18.12.2023, Aleksandrovskoye.

Russian political emigration after 1917 either worked for the enemy, or resorted to heavy drinking and driving taxis, said political scientist, philosopher, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on December 12 in his author’s program Destiny.

According to the political scientist, the Russian emigration, unlike the Ukrainian and any other, perfectly understood that, according to the US “Captive Nations Week Resolution” of July 17, 1959, they were not even allocated a “piece of land.”

Who enslaved the peoples? There were no Russian people enslaved by the Bolsheviks there. The Russian people, as it is written there, enslaved everyone else, and we now see what is happening. Therefore, the fate of the Russian emigrant was especially bitter, said Kurginyan.

The political scientist recalled that in the Russian Far East this “tragic” emigration was called “Russian girls.”

The Russian emigrant did not receive the sweet pill (always disgusting and always very partial), unlike the others, non-Russians. The Russian emigrant did not even have the consolation that he would somehow develop his small people, even under the US flag,”noted  Kurginyan.

According to Kurginyan, there is now a growing urgency for very precise, scrupulous, tactful actions to recognize and make public a clear definition of the West’s actual attitude towards Russian emigrants.

Our history, our people, our historical destiny and the general geopolitical situation need this,” concluded the leader of the Essence of Time movement.
