Units of the Army Group Yug of the Russian Armed Forces liberated the village of Artemovskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), the Russian Defense Ministry informed on November 29.
“On the Donetsk direction, units of the Army Group Yug, supported by aviation and artillery fire, improved their position along the front line and liberated the village of Artemovskoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic,” the statement reads.
Russian troops in this direction repulsed three enemy attacks during the day. The enemy lost 5 tanks, 12 vehicles, and up to 250 personnel.
The head of the press center of the Army Group Yug Vadim Astafiev reported that the enemy’s manpower and equipment were hit in the areas of the villages of Chasov Yar, Kleshcheevka, Georgievka. Russian units took more favorable lines and positions near Artyomovsk.
The ministry informed that Ivanovo assault units captured a Ukrainian stronghold north of Artemovsk.
