A French court issued the decision to issue an arrest warrant for Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, Agence France-Presse wrote on November 15.
As the publication notes, the court made such a decision within the framework of the accusation of Assad in the use of chemical weapons during the civil war in Syria.
The accusations of the Syrian government and Assad himself in the use of chemical weapons were put forward by Western politicians without any substantial evidence.
One of the main “sources” of this information was the non-governmental organization White Helmets, which is closely linked to anti-Assad jihadist groups and the West.
