France delivered a new batch of 40 AMX-10RC armored vehicles to Ukraine, the Bulgarianmilitary publication wrote on November 1.
According to the publication, the vehicles have been delivered to the 37th Independent Marine Brigade. At the same time, Paris did not confirm the delivery of the new batch of vehicles.
The publication recalled that the Ukrainian army used the first batch in a not very successful way. “As a result of this unsuccessful offensive, four vehicles were lost,” the article noted.
One of the vehicles was captured and subsequently exhibited in the Patriot park, the publication emphasizes.
AMX-10RC are often mistakenly called “wheeled tanks”, but in fact they are fire support vehicles. The vehicle was first presented to the French army in 1981.
Earlier, a French delegation held talks with the Ukrainian authorities in Kiev. The meeting discussed the build-up of military supplies to Ukraine.
