UAVs attacked the US military base in al-Shaddadi in the northeastern Syrian province of Hasakeh, Al Mayadeen TV channel reported on October 29.
According to the TV channel, the US military was attacked by fighters from the Islamic Resistance of Iraq movement.
The attacked US military base is located near the Al-Jebsa oil field in the northeastern Syrian province of Hasakeh.
Earlier, UAVs attacked another US base, which is located near the oil field El-Omar in eastern Syria. The Pentagon said US bases in Syria have been attacked three times in the past week and ten times in Iraq.
On October 24, 2023, a representative of the US Central Command (CENTCOM) reported that 24 US Army soldiers were wounded as a result of attacks on US military facilities.
