Slovak authorities will not support EU sanctions against Russia in the nuclear sector, Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fitzo said on October 27, speaking to journalists.
According to the politician, Slovakia intends to assess the new sanctions against Russia regarding its own benefit and threats of such restrictions to its national interests.
He also pointed out that the new package of anti-Russian sanctions could affect the nuclear sphere.
“If such a proposal appeared, I cannot imagine that we would vote for it,” Fico said.
