Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development Mehrdad Bazrpash arrived in Yerevan to sign contracts for the construction of the Agarak-Kajaran highway as part of the North-South International Transport Corridor (NSC-I), Tasnim reports on October 23.
The road is also a part of the Persian Gulf-Black Sea transportation corridor.
Armenia is a favorable market for exporting technical and engineering services of Iranian companies, Bazrpash said, emphasizing Tehran’s readiness to provide these services to Yerevan.
Bazrpash arrived in Armenia on a one-day visit. The minister is accompanied by his deputy, Director General of Transportation Infrastructure Construction and Development Company Kheirollah Khademi and Deputy Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy Mahdi Safari.
