Israeli intelligence services created the Hamas movement, said political scientist, philosopher and leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on October 17 in a new episode of his author’s program Destiny.
“Who created Hamas in the dumbest and most obvious way, while recognizing this? Who? The Israeli intelligence services. They do not deny this. They helped it in every possible way, hoping that they would come into conflict with Yasser Arafat and the Democratic Front, which was not radically Islamist,” Kurginyan recalled.
According to the political scientist, the Israelis primarily used radical Hamas Islamism to hit Arafat and his movements, considering them more dangerous precisely because they were modernizing Palestinian society. In addition, he noted that Israel feared that they contained some socialist origins and had at some point befriended the Soviet Union.
“That’s why Hamas has been the most welcome child of Israel’s intelligence services, the Israeli police and beyond. Well, it’s obvious,” the philosopher explained.
Kurginyan noted that there are situations when the instruments created get out of control later.
“But it’s a fact that it was cultivated in a certain logic, that these counter-modernist-chalifatist forces were nurtured,” he said.
Kurginyan recalled that Hamas is an affiliate of the Muslim Brotherhood (organization banned in Russia), an organization created by the United Kingdom that is also a caliphate-Sunni radical-Islamist organization.
“While the Israelis might be at some point scared of this Hamas (or not – it is not clear; the fact that they created it in the beginning, everyone recognizes this), the British continued to develop this creation because they hated Israel and everything modernist there, because they wanted this Islamic periphery,” he revealed.
According to the political scientist, British intelligence worked with both Lawrence of Arabia and Philby and others just to achieve this goal, worked all over the world, considered it necessary to have Islamist network, to use this network against enemies, to manage this counter-modernity process and eventually to mold the world in line with this process.
“Who is the master of Hamas? Look for the master – you will find the motivation. Is there anything conspiracy-like in these words of mine, colleagues?” Kurginyan posed a question.
