An explosion in a Gaza hospital was caused by a rocket launched by the Islamic Jihad group (organization banned in Russia), the Israel Defense Forces press service said on October 17.
“Evidence from various sources indicates that Islamic Jihad (organization banned in Russia) is responsible for the failed launch of a rocket that hit a hospital in Gaza,” it said.
On October 17, the TV channel Al-Jazeera quoting a representative of the Ministry of Health of Gaza reported the death of more than 500 people in a strike on one of the hospitals in the Gaza Strip.
After the report of the Palestinian Ministry of Health about the strike on the hospital, crowds gathered near the Israeli Embassy in the Jordanian capital Amman. Protesters are trying to set fire to the embassy building.
