The Russian Armed Forces are improving their position and switching to active defense along the entire contact line, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on the program “Moscow. Kremlin. Putin” published by journalist Pavel Zarubin on his Telegram channel on October 15.
“What is happening now all along the contact, this is called ‘active defense’. And our troops are improving their position almost all over this space. On a quite large space,” Putin said.
Putin specified that this applies to the Kupyansk, Zaporozhye and Avdeevka directions. The Ukrainian counteroffensive is not stalling, but has completely failed, Putin summarized.
