Using mercenaries is not a working model, since one can’t die for money, said political scientist, philosopher, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on September 23rd in the Conversation with a Sage program on the Zvezda radio channel.
Russian President Vladimir Putin said something similar, noted the political scientist. “By the way, the president said something similar. He said that, of course, we raised our pay and so on, but a serious injury or death is not something that can be compensated with any amount of money. The understanding of this issue is gradually taking hold,” the political scientist emphasized.
Then comes the issue of mercenaries, and the thesis about “serving your loyalty to the highest bidder”, or praising those who can bribe the enemy, Sergey Kurginyan pointed out. A death wish or absolute corruption lie at the core of the mercenary model, he believes.
“And then comes the question: who will be the highest bidder? That’s clear, right? And when they press hard, what does become the weak link? What kind of confidence are we talking about? How can you even exist without such a support? How can you control anything? Who will be able to do it? Those who you don’t trust at all and who will serve to the highest bidder just like that? This is a political issue,” the expert said.
Using mercenaries is not a working model, Kurginyan emphasized. The Russian authorities will have to resolve “terrible” management issues in a new way. The philosopher is convinced that only something that contains an intangible value will allow to overcome the current confrontation between Russia and the West.
“The world is ruled by the immaterial. Why? Well, because if you can buy everyone, then others can buy everyone too. Victory comes only to a man of Faith,” explained the leader of the Essence of Time movement.
