The transfer of British training courses for Ukrainian soldiers to Ukraine will make British NATO instructors a legal target for the Russian Armed Forces, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev said in his Telegram account on October 1
“One new-born moron – Britain’s defense minister – has decided to move British training courses for Ukrainian soldiers to the territory of Ukraine itself. That is, to turn their instructors into a legal target for our armed forces,” Dmitry Medvedev wrote.
Earlier, British Defence Minister Grant Shapps said that he had agreed with the country’s military leadership to transfer the training program for Ukrainian soldiers to Ukraine.
The British Defense Ministry said in August that about 20,000 Ukrainian servicemen had been trained on the territory of the country as part of the Interflex program.
