Combat with varying intensity along the contact line is underway between the Armed Forces of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) and Azerbaijan, Armenian News-NEWS am agency informed in the morning of September 20 with reference to the Artsakh Defense Army.
According to the Artsakh Defense Ministry, the armed forces of Azerbaijan, with fire support from various types of weapons, continue operations of positional advancement, striking civilian infrastructure as well.
Artsakh Armed Forces are defending and resisting the Azerbaijani troops, the ministry said.
On the night of September 20 Artsakh Information Center reported that for about an hour there were strikes of Azerbaijani aviation and rocket artillery in the direction of Stepanakert and other areas of the republic.
