Black Sea Fleet aircraft destroyed four high-speed military boats with Ukrainian landing groups on board on the night of September 4, the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry said.
“Four US-made Willard Sea Force high-speed military boats with Ukrainian landing groups moving in the direction of Cape Tarkhankut on the Crimean coast were destroyed,” the statement reads.
The Defense Ministry also said that last night, Russian air defense forces destroyed two Ukrainian aircraft-type drones over the Black Sea near Crimea and over the Kursk region. Terrorist attacks were foiled.
Rossa Primavera News Agency informed earlier that according to the Russian Defense Ministry, several attempts to land Ukrainian landing groups in Crimea on August 29 and 30 had been thwarted. The ministry stressed that the Black Sea Fleet had established permanent control in the Black Sea waters.
