NATO is encouraging provocations with Ukrainian drones to deploy troops into Ukraine in case of escalation by Russia, the Italian daily Il Sussidiario wrote.
“The strikes have two goals. First, to make the Russians feel that they are vulnerable, and second, to provoke Moscow to escalate, which will lead to the alliance’s participation in the conflict,” the journalist explains.
The author of the publication believes that Kiev cannot expect to win without Western troops. At the same time, the author recalled that although Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelenskyy said that he did not want to attack Russian territory for fear of being left without support from allies, his actions show the opposite.
Earlier, a total of more than a dozen drones were detected and shot down in the Bryansk, Orel, Kaluga, Ryazan regions . Casualties and major destruction were avoided.
Also Sevastopol was attacked by drones, all of them were destroyed. One drone was crashed in the Ruza district of the Moscow region.
