Drones that are now used attack the Russian navy must face not only special technical measures but also a new reality, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, philosopher and political scientist Sergey Kurginyan said on August 8 in his original broadcast Destiny.
The political scientist noted that even the Russian navy today is forced to defend against enemy drones.
Sergey Kurginyan stressed that, instead of heroically shelling a 460 kg drone once the crew notices it approaching their ship, it “must be detected 300 km away and not allowed to approach the ship.”
“To this end, there is special watercraft and special aircraft, etc. But it all has to be produced! Similarly as we need to produce navy ships. Now!” the leader of Essence of Time said.
Kurginyan added that to transform the Russian navy, it is not enough to allocate $50 billion. Money is not the key. According to the political scientist, the current Russian reality has to be changed.
“Our reality has to be changed according to the standards of fighting a the enemy that has gone mad. We need new navy aircraft to continuously monitor it in the air. We need boats to defeat it at long range. We need all this now!” Kurginyan said.
