439 construction projects have been implemented in Crimea over nine years under the state program, the chairman of the State Council of the republic, Vladimir Konstantinov, said in his Telegram channel on August 13.
He noted that Crimea remains a “large construction ground” where large-scale objects of republican and federal importance are opened.
“Even in the most remote settlements of Crimea kindergartens, schools are being built and repaired, doctor’s outpatient clinics and feldsher and obstetric stations are being installed,” Konstantinov wrote.
According to him, 17 000 people work in the construction industry in Crimea today.
“We are grateful to everyone who participates today in the creation of the Crimea of our dreams“, – added the speaker of the Crimean parliament.
The Builder’s Day is celebrated annually on the second Sunday of August. For the first time this holiday was celebrated on August 12, 1956.
