The Western countries organize as many “staged” forums as possible to discuss the Ukrainian peace formula, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on August 4.
According to the foreign minister, the West is trying to organize as many platforms as possible to discuss the formula for peace in Ukraine proposed by its president Vladimir Zelenskiy. Western countries are trying to lure as many countries as possible to these forums.
Russia’s representative to the UN, Vasily Nebenzya, said that Kiev’s adoption of a realistic position would bring the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine closer.
A settlement is possible only if Ukraine realizes the reality and stops offering “peace plans” implying that Russia should surrender, Nebenzya said.
