Russian servicemen seized a French AMX-10 RC wheeled tank in Zaporozhye region. The head of the local public movement “We are together with Russia” Vladimir Rogov said this to RIA Novosti on July 28.
“Our soldiers seized the French AMX-10 RC heavy wheeled tank on the front line. It is in a very condition or rather – almost in perfect condition, without damage,” he said.
Rogov said that the vehicle will be sent to the rear for study by military engineers.
On July 28, the city of Tokmak in the Zaporozhye region of Russia was shelled with cluster munitions by the Ukrainian militants, as a result of which a woman was killed and another local resident was wounded. Significant damage to residential buildings was also reported.
