Kurginyan explains why Prigozhin’s mutiny folded so quickly

20.07.2023, Aleksandrovskoye.

The mutiny of the Wagner PMC quickly ended after physical security was offered to its leader Yevgeny Prigozhin, according to a hypothesis that the leader of the Essence of Time movement, philosopher and political scientist Sergey Kurginyan proposed on July 11 in his original broadcast Destiny.

The political scientist assumed that Prigozhin began his mutiny on June 23-24 because of a threat of his physical elimination that he perceived as very substantiated.

Kurginyan stressed that this is only a hypothesis, although it has the meaning of a fact to him.

When psychological information, public information, and everything else cross in certain point, when everything is taking place in a way that one stream and another stream and one more stream cross, then something can take the meaning of quite a feasible hypothesis, Kurginyan explained.

According to the analyst, the hypothesis about a threat to Prigozhin’s life accounts well for certain events, “For example, how quickly it all ended at the moment when physical security was offered,” the expert indicated.

The hypothesis about what caused the mutiny is not really important in the context of the role of Wagner’s mutiny in the Russian political system and its further destiny, but it is “quite important to understand the details,” the leader of the Essence of Time movement added.
