PMC Wagner commanders assured Russian President Vladimir Putin during a meeting with him in the Kremlin that they are his supporters, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on July 10.
“They emphasized that they are convinced supporters and soldiers of the state’s leader and supreme Commander-in-Chief,” Peskov said.
He added that the commanders revealed they were ready to continue fighting for the Motherland.
Peskov confirmed that the meeting took place on June 29. A total of 35 people took part in it, including the head of PMC Wagner Yevgeniy Prigozhin. The topics of the meeting were the special military operation and the events of June 24, 2023.
