The Ukrainian events is the most important topic, but the media do not discuss it seriously enough, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, philosopher and political scientist Sergey Kurginyan said on June 20 in a new issue of his author’s broadcast Destiny.
“I insist that everything that is taking place in Ukraine is the most important topic today. This is the number one topic,” the political scientist said.
He expressed gratitude to all the journalists who cover e.g. the events taking place in Zaporozhye, Avdeevka, Maryinka, or elsewhere in the SMO zone. Kurginyan stressed that it is important to report the progress of the hostilities and the failure of the Ukrainian counter-offensive.
“These people are at the most important missions now; there is nothing more important now than what buildings our troops take or have to leave in a town or a village. This is what the destiny of the world and the humanity depends upon now,” the leader of Essence of Time said.
At the same time, Kurginyan indicated that our journalists’ work remains inadequate.
“I was interested to watch how they met with the president of Russia, it is very good. But in mathematics there is such a term ‘necessary, but not sufficient,’” he explained.
However, the political scientist noted, there are issues related to the SMO that must not be discussed in a manner like at a dance party. At the same time he believes that there are other issues related to Ukraine and the Special Operation that should also be discussed, but at a different level.
“And there are other issues that have to be discussed, too, but they, I admit, are less important than a change of the front line in Maryinka, in Avdeevka, or elsewhere,” he said.
Kurginyan indicated that no one discusses military strategy and the way it is organized today. He reminded that a military strategy is a result of a complicated path from initial concepts, which further form doctrines as a basis for theories to produce models, and based on the models a strategy is developed. Only then practice follows, which produces a tank or an aircraft.
