The attempt to sow discord within the country during wartime is “the greatest crime that has no justification.” His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia stated an address published on the official website of the Moscow Patriarchate on June 24.
“Today, when our brothers are fighting and dying on the fronts, selflessly doing their duty, when the enemies are directing all efforts to destroy Russia, any attempt to sow discord within the country is the greatest crime that has no justification,” Patriarch Kirill said.
“I support the efforts of the Head of the Russian State to prevent turmoil in our country,” he added.
