Ukrainian armed units shelled the Kuibyshev and Kiev districts in Donetsk using Western-made barrel artillery systems. A DPR representative to the Joint Center for the Control and Coordination of the Issues related to the Ukrainian War Crimes (JCCC) said this on June 15.
“The shelling by the Ukrainian armed units was reported for the direction: 07:25 a.m. – the village of Netailovo – Donetsk (Kuybyshevskiy and Kievskiy districts): 7 155mm rounds were fired,” the statement reads.
Ukrainian nationalists have recently been using not only large-caliber artillery for shelling towns in Donbass, but also multiple rocket launchers, both Soviet-made, such as Grad, and Western equipment, including American HIMARS and German MARS II systems.
