Ukrainian troops shelled the Petrovsky district of Donetsk using Western-made artillery systems. A representative of the Donetsk People’s Republic to the Joint Center for the Control and Coordination of the Issues related to the Ukrainian War Crimes (JCCC) said this on June 12.
“The shelling from the direction: 08:20 a.m. – Maksimillyanovka – Donetsk (Petrovsky district) was reported: 6 155mm shells were fired,” the statement reads.
Ukrainian nationalists have recently been using not only large-caliber artillery for attacking towns in Donbass, but also multiple rocket launchers, both Soviet-made, such as Grad, and Western equipment, including American HIMARS and German MARS II systems.
