Today, certain elite circles consider the species Homo sapiens an evolutionary dead end, said philosopher and political scientist, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on April 20 on the program Conversation with a Sage on the Zvezda radio station.
The political scientist noted that huge resources have been allocated to de-humanization today. Also, according to Kurginyan, “they are talking not only about the end of history, but also about the end of project of ‘Man.’”
Kurginyan stressed that projects of “Man” and “Humanism” have turned out to be really short-term structures. Attempts are now being made to cancel all this.
“But then we have to say that, in the most serious version, it means the end of the species Homo sapiens, which is considered an evolutionary dead end. And a different species is needed instead of this Homo sapiens,” the leader of Essence of Time indicated.
In this context, the political scientist reminded the destruction of the USSR. In his opinion, this was also part of the destruction of project of “Man.”
“I heard this from academicians back in the Gorbachev period, that the top destination of the changes, whatever they are called – perestroika, global transformation, destruction of communism and the Soviet Union – was to cut off the dry branch of the tree of life. The dry branch, which is the species Homo sapiens. This is the target,” Kurginyan explained.
