German politician Sahra Wagenknecht of the Left (Die Linke) party called Olaf Scholz a “spineless” German chancellor on April 21 in an interview with the Swiss magazine Die Weltwoche.
The interview touched on many important topics in Germany’s political and economic life. Scholz, in Wagenknecht’s view, is a “spineless” chancellor.
He initially did not want arms deliveries to Ukraine, but allowed himself to be pressured by his coalition partners and the media. At the same time, according to Wagenknecht, the Chancellor was always afraid of making a mistake.
