The founder of the Turkish Republic Kemal Atatürk, General Secretary of the USSR Yuri Andropov, and President of Russia Vladimir Putin dreamed about the same thing, but what they wanted no longer exists, said political scientist and philosopher, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on the program Conversation with a Sage on the Zvezda radio station.
The USA has already spoken against the authoritarian catching-up modernization for other countries, against sovereignty, against development in general, the political scientist noted. The USA has rejected building nations on the periphery.
“Then the question was what to do. This question came up before the Turks who had canceled Kemalism after they realized that they were rejected and that they would never be admitted to this modernized community,” Sergey Kurginyan explained.
This is exactly why the current Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdoğan appeared with his caliphate and Turanism. Erdoğan understood that there were no other options, and that everything Kemal dreamed about was canceled.
“But what Kemal dreamed about and what Andropov and Putin dreamed about are the same thing. The same thing. It is to become large Germanys and Frances,” Sergey Kurginyan explained.
The USA understood that the process of catching-up modernization had to be stopped, the analyst noted. Otherwise, Russia with its nuclear weapons will become part of Europe. And then how would US bases in Europe be explained? Against whom are these bases?
Kurginyan noted that the USA understood what would happen if German industry is combined with Russian raw materials. It understood that it would be its end.
A similar negative scenario for the USA would take place in the event China develops and Russia is on its side. For Washington, this is a disastrous scenario, the political scientist explained.
This is why the USA said that authoritarianism is its enemy; also, to prevent democracy from leading to development, a decision was made to equalize it with chaos.
“Therefore, it was stated that all that could be done was to counter that even metaphysically. And in order to counter that even metaphysically, democracy had to be equalized with chaos to say that chaos is a friend,” Sergey Kurginyan noted.
