Germany delivered the second IRIS-T air defense system to Ukraine, Spiegel wrote on April 19 citing its own sources.
According to the newspaper, the system arrived in Ukraine around April 16. The 16 missiles were provided.
Germany had promised to supply the Kiev regime with four such systems. The first one was delivered to Kiev in October 2022. The delivery date for the remaining two remains uncertain because they have not yet been produced.
Earlier, it was reported that the Ukrainian military began to learn how to use the IRIS-T system. According to the Wall Street Journal, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are running out of stock of Buk and S-300 air defense systems.
