The Russian Armed Forces detected a convoy of military equipment of the Ukrainian armed units using an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and destroyed it, the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry wrote on its Telegram channel on April 14.
The report reads that during a flight mission, the UAV’s crew detected a column of military equipment of the Ukrainian armed units on the march. “The coordinates of the detected targets were transmitted in real-time to the control center,” the press service noted.
After detecting the target, “a high-precision strike was carried out against the military equipment of the Ukrainian armed units,” the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
In addition, the Defense Ministry press service reported that unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) perform various tasks during the special military operation: reconnaissance and adjustment of fire, and striking military targets.
