Germany is a serious threat to the USA in Europe, so the US elite has bet on Poland as a counterweight to Germany, philosopher, political analyst, leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said in an interview for the Belarusian TV channel BelTA on March 23.
“Germany poses a particularly great threat to the USA, so Poland serves as the counter-balance,” the political scientist said, responding to a question about the US influence on Poland.
According to Kurginyan, Germany is very much inclined toward the occupation of Poland. He recalled that during the Prague Spring in 1968, the East German military asked to refrain from introducing Bulgarian or Romanian troops into Prague as members of the Warsaw Pact. They wanted to enter Czechoslovakia alone. “We will go in, speak German, the Czechs will immediately calm down,” the Germans explained.
“The Reich is alive, and it makes the US elite’s blood run cold!” the analyst stressed. Therefore, the USA uses Poland as a counterbalance to Germany, he pointed out. According to him, US and German intelligence agencies have a deadly competition with each other, “In the Baltics, BND [the German foreign intelligence service] and CIA agents were killing each other.”
Kurginyan stressed that Ukraine is a traditional territory of BND influence, but at some point, Germany lost its influence on Ukraine and is “trying to catch up with this” now. Ukraine is now dominated by British and, in part, US intelligence.
On February 21, 2023, Polish President Andrzej Duda told US President Joe Biden that Poland would make every effort during its presidency in the EU in 2025 to strengthen transatlantic ties.
