The political system of the West has degraded, Vyacheslav Volodin, Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, said in his Telegram channel on April 2.
Volodin said that Donald Trump is facing criminal prosecution, and possibly Biden in the future will face the same. Former French President Sarkozy was convicted of trying to bribe a judge and corruption, and Merkel is accused of violating the principle of equal opportunity for political parties.
“And these people are teaching the whole world how to live! The Western political system has degraded, and along with it its leaders, who have lost not only credibility, but have become the subjects of criminal cases and scandals,” Volodin said.
These people are convicted for much less serious crimes than those that they had actually committed.
Their policies have led to millions of victims, bloodshed and destruction in Libya, Iraq, Syria, Afghanistan, Yugoslavia and Ukraine.
“The European and American politicians responsible for this should be brought before an international tribunal and face the punishment they deserve,” said Vyacheslav Volodin.
