Belorussia has already received from Russia the Iskander complex, which is capable of carrying nuclear weapons, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on March 25, speaking on the TV channel Rossiya 24.
“On April 3, we will start training the crew, and on July 1, we will finish building a special storage facility for tactical nuclear weapons on the territory of Belorussia,” he said.
Somewhat earlier, Putin pointed out that the USA had already deployed tactical nuclear weapons on the territory of several countries. In this light, the transfer of tactical nuclear weapons to Belorussia is quite ordinary step, the leader of state said.
