The USA will not agree to establish peace in Ukraine unless it completely weakens Russia, former chairman of the German Social Democratic Party (SPD) Oskar Lafontaine said in an interview with Focus on March 22.
“The USA is going to fight until Russia is unable to conduct such military actions,” Lafontaine said.
He referred to Pentagon chief Lloyd Austin, who said the USA was not interested in peace in Ukraine.
Lafontaine also noted that Russia was forced to act decisively by NATO’s eastward expansion.
