The complete lack of sovereignty of European countries has disappointed Russian President Vladimir Putin, who has long believed in such sovereignty, said political scientist and philosopher and leader of the Movement of the Essence of Time Sergey Kurginyan in an interview with Vyacheslav Manucharov on the YouTube channel of Manuchi Empathy program, published on March 16.
“I don’t think I would be much mistaken…if I say that Putin has long investigated the question of whether Europe is sovereign, and he was not immediately disappointed. He is a thoroughgoing person and he studied it in details to find out how deep the lack of sovereignty is, and he realized it by 2011 or 2012,” Kurginyan explained.
He explained that Russian adherents of the project of Russia’s entry into Europe were betting on the existence of a certain sovereignty of the EU from the United States, but even faint indication of this sovereignty do not exist.
“But this [Europe’s sovereignty] was exactly what they hoped for, and the plan of [Soviet General Secretary Yuri] Andropov was as follows: that there was some sovereignty there, that something sovereign could be raised,” the political scientist added.
Kurginyan recounted a conversation with a major German politician from the West Germany who had the power to change course in Germany. According to this politician, it was possible to organize socialism in Germany in two weeks, by stirring up the whole country. But the question remained open about the US military bases that were in control of the whole country.
