Any convergence between Russia and Germany is something the USA will never allow to happen, said philosopher, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan in an interview to Vyacheslav Manucharov published on March 13 on the YouTube channel of the Manuchi’s Empathy program.
The political scientist noted that in the end of the Soviet period he was director of the Center for Strategic Research for the Council of Ministers of the USSR and advisor to the Chairman of the Council of Ministers.
According to Kurginyan, he received a call from Leonid Shebarshin, director of the First Chief Directorate of the KGB of the USSR, and he said, “Listen, you are a private organization, could you make a good welcome and dinner to a very important person, John Mroz, East West Foundation? You should meet him, please talk to him and find out what he can, and clean up his brains, you are the only one who can do it.”
The political scientist noted that he talked to Mroz in English for almost three hours. At the end of their talk, when they were left face to face, Mroz suddenly switched to Russian, and he said:
“Sergey, everything you are saying about a convergence between Russia and Germany and how it could happen is probably right. Maybe this is right, but if this is the case, it is a nuclear war in Europe. It is a nuclear war in Europe, remember this!”
Kurginyan noted that at this moment his whitish eyes suddenly became blue, a transformation that actors may have. Then Morz told that he would like to make an address in a Soviet newspaper to tell that the USA supports the conservation of the USSR. According to the political scientist, they had to look for a suitable newspaper for it, Pravda and Moscow News refused, and they had to publish it in Izyumov’s Glasnost.
“But even then it was already clear that any convergence between Germany, the old Europe, and Russia, even after a partitioning of the Soviet Union, but with remaining nuclear shield and the raw material resources, would be a disaster for the USA. And even then it was clear that the Eastern European countries would become a special Curzon Line, a special belt to separate it from Germany and France,” Kurginyan stressed.
Today, according to Kurginyan, the gas pipelines have been destroyed, and the whole project started by Chairman of the KGB Yuri Andropov a long time ago has failed. The political scientist noted that he warned about this long ago, but he was ignored because he was allegedly incompetent as strong relations had been built with the German government.
“I referred to the well-known Stalin’s phrase about whether Krupskaya understood Lenin. He said, ‘To sleep with the leader does not mean to know him.’ Besides, this is a very philosophical statement: perception is not reflection. Do you understand? Direct knowledge is not indicative itself,” Sergey Kurginyan said.
The political scientist noted that he can have smaller perception towards various political figures, but he has reflection. “I have Mroz, and not only him, it is also Brzeziński and all the others, and their school, and this principle, and the republicans, who hate Europe to death,” he stressed.
