Russia could have been under protection from the US if it agreed to join Europe in parts, said political scientist, philosopher, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan in an interview with Vyacheslav Manucharov, published on March 13 on Manuchi’s Empathy program on YouTube channel.
The Russian leadership was repeatedly asked to divide Russia into parts and integrate it into Europe in such a way, noted Kurginyan. According to him, Russian President Vladimir Putin and a part of the Russian security services elite rejected such proposals.
“And the other part of the security services elite – they said:’ So be it ‘,” said Kurginyan.
He recalled that within Russia, there was a debate as to how to make it a proper country in order to join the West. At the same time, it was said that a proper country – it is something small, something convenient, something that has good working toilets.
Kurginyan responded to the host’s question about what would await Russia if it nevertheless joined Europe in parts.
“Without nuclear weapons? Well, then, the US protection was possible”, said Kurginyan.
