In order to successfully stand in the post-Soviet world of gangster neo-Darwinism, we have to become very powerful and strongly willing to live on, said philosopher, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on February 15 in an interview to the ONT Belarusian channel.
The political scientist reminded that slow major historical processes take decades to launch, and that the past thirty years after the collapse of the USSR is a really short time in historical terms. Kurginyan believes that Russia and all the former Soviet republics have only begun “to taste the first bitter fruit” of the death of the Soviet Union.
“This huge construction fell down on our people. It fell down on all of us,” he said.
This “falling down” produced huge problems. According to the analyst, the victims of the collapse of the Soviet Union and the loss of great material assets is only one of the problems.
“Another problem is how insolent the USA became. The third problem is how the rest of the world now behaves. The fourth problem is that any ideological reference point is now gone,” Kurginyan listed.
The expert envisages “a huge swirl” of the listed problems, which has started its rotation, and into which Russia has only begun to be drawn. “We are only touching its periphery. The current events are only the first innocent moves,” Kurginyan believes.
As a result of the collapse of the Soviet Union, there is no law in the world anymore, agreements are no longer fulfilled, and there is no logic in the international relations.
“Everything taking place is based on pragmatics, i.e. might makes right. If you are weak in this kind of a situation, then you are wrong: ‘your guilt is that I am hungry.’ And when you are weak, you are destroyed. This is a world of neo-Darwinism. A world of brazen force, be it brutal, soft etc. And this force has gone insane after it tasted the flesh and blood of the Soviet Union,” the philosopher said.
Answering a question how we can withstand the world of insane force, Kurginyan cited Viktor Tsoy, “You have to be strong, otherwise why should you be?”
In order to successfully stand against “a huge gangster mass backed by total neutrality of the rest of the world” Russia has to strongly want to live on, the political scientist believes. Kurginyan cited the novel Aelita by Aleksey Tolstoy, “We let our planetary civilization die because we lost our strong desire to live, we forgot how to strongly love life.”
Power and will to live are the components without which we cannot successfully stand against the global gangsters, who seek, according to the leader of the Essence of Time movement, to destroy “the united Russian people.”
