Two Russian Il-76 planes delivered 56 tons of humanitarian aid was delivered to Syria, RIA Novosti reported on February 20, citing the Russian Emergencies Ministry.
“Two emergency Il-76 planes delivered more than 56 tons of humanitarian aid to the Syrian Arab Republic,” the ministry said.
It is reported that food, basic necessities, and personal hygiene items, as well as blankets and pillows, were sent to Syria.
The Ministry specified that the Ministry’s aircraft delivered a total of 336 tons of humanitarian aid to Syria.
