Cadre units are supposed to instantly accommodate and lead mobilized soldiers, said philosopher, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on the program Conversation with a Sage on the Zvezda radio station published on January 27 on YouTube.
“What is a cadre unit? It is a military unit that has to be kept in a good condition,” Kurginyan said.
He explained that this is quite a difficult task in a peaceful period. This is as difficult as to keep rescue teams at nuclear power stations in an appropriate psychological condition while they believe that they will probably never use their skills in their lifetime.
“Cadre units exist to be able to instantly accommodate and lead mobilized soldiers. Instantly! In a second!” the political scientist stressed.
Kurginyan noted that when cadre units are eliminated together with their training facilities the mobilized units are “left to stew in their own juice”.
According to the political scientist, this situation is not fatal, but it is bad. He stressed that in this situation the mobilized men, many of them with combat experience, survive due to they ability for self-organization, which has always been typical of the Russians.
