As soon as science stops treating Man and his ascension with deference, it can easily start thinking about destroying him, said philosopher, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on January 13 on the program Conversation with a Sage on the Zvezda radio station.
The conversation focused on why so many scientific studies appeared recently, which are obviously dangerous for the humanity and which are strongly reminiscent of the ideas implemented by the Nazi Germany. These include experiments with the human embryo, various “improvements” of Man, and his cyborgization followed by disposal through euthanasia.
Kurginyan pointed out that caution regarding what humanity had not perfectly understood was typical for great scientists of the first half of the 20th century. Plenty of time has passed since then, and new generations of scientists came, who are no longer committed to the cultural tradition with deference towards Man, which restricted scientific insanity. Numerous dangerous trends have emerged in science.
“Economy itself is very useful, and it should be studied, it tells us a great deal about how to regulate human life. There is only one thing it must not do: it must not set goals. It is not supposed to. As soon as it is tasked with setting goals, it transforms into a stupid destructive monster. It goes beyond its limits,” Kurginyan explained.
“The same applies to science. Science has no right to set goals, it has no right to challenge what it is support to serve. As soon as it stops serving Man’s ascension, as soon as it stops treating Man and his capabilities with deference, it transforms into a monster,” he stressed.
Besides, the philosopher indicated, as the scientific fields increasingly split (chemical physics, physical chemistry, biological physics etc.), no one can assemble science into anything integral anymore. Science develops uncontrolled according to its internal logic, which is beyond any idea of integrity.
Such a science can easily start thinking about whether Man should be destroyed to put something else in his place. Such speculations not only fill our life today, but they also combine with certain practice, Kurginyan indicated.
Studies of in vitro fertilization and growing human embryos in a completely artificial environment (in an artificial uterus) have much advanced. These experiments are only restricted by “the rule of 14 days” that prohibits storing human embryos in an artificial uterus longer than 14 days, which is enshrined in the law of many countries.
However, anticipating the lift of this ban, projects of human incubators are being developed now, where so-called “designer” children would be grown, i.e. children customized for other people using gene engineering.
