The build-up of an allied group of forces troops continues in the territory of Belorussia, said the Defense Ministry of the republic on January 5.
Russia and Belorussia continue building up the regional grouping of troops.
Russian and Belarusian presidents made a decision to deploy a group of allied forces due to the aggravation of the situation on the western borders. Its forces will not be involved in solving tasks within the framework of Russia’s special military operation in Donbass.
Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko stated that the fate of the Collective Security Treaty Organization depends on the success of Russia’s special operation in Ukraine. If Russia collapses as a result of the conflict, all other members of the treaty will be buried under the rubble, believes the Belarusian leader.
