Former French President Francois Hollande said that the Minsk agreements allowed the Kiev regime to strengthen its army, the Kiev Independent newspaper said on December 30.
According to the politician, since 2014, the Kiev regime has managed to significantly strengthen its armed forces, including by equipping and training them.
“The main achievement of the Minsk agreements is that they have provided the Ukrainian army with such an opportunity,” Hollande said.
