Statements made by certain Pentagon officials about “a decapitation attack” against Russia can suggest that there are plans to neutralize the Russian leader Vladimir Putin, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on December 27 in a interview to TASS.
“Some ‘undisclosed officials’ from Pentagon, in fact, threatened with a ‘decapitation attack‘ on the Kremlin; actually, this is a threat of physical neutralization of the leader of the Russian state,” he said.
According to Lavrov, those who nurture such plans, if they really exist, must think about consequences. The minister also reminded that the West has recently increasingly launched various statements about nuclear confrontation.
He indicated that UK ex-prime minister Liz Truss directly said that she was ready to give an order for a nuclear attack .Also, Lavrov reminded that President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky urged the NATO states to make a preemptive nuclear strike on Russia.
“This goes beyond all limits, too,” the minister stressed.
Lavrov added that Russia has heard even worse statements from the Kiev regime’s officials.
