The Saratov region in Russia sent more than three thousand New Year presents for children in Donbass, the Telegram channel of the regional government reported on December 19.
On December 19, trucks left Saratov with humanitarian aid for the Svatovsk district of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR). The total volume of cargo was about 100 tons.
The aid included gifts for children – more than 3,000 sets with sweets to celebrate the upcoming New Year. Also, the Saratov region sent heaters, generators, construction materials, and fan heaters to the LPR.
“I think the cargo will already arrive in Donbass tomorrow,” said the governor of the region Roman Busargin, who came to see off the convoy with humanitarian aid.
