At least until 2025, the United States intends to support the military conflict in Ukraine, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at a meeting with journalists on December 8.
Such plans of Washington can be seen “based on those documents that are not hidden from anyone,” said the spokeswoman of the Foreign Ministry.
She stressed that the US media believe that the efforts of Joe Biden’s administration to get congressional authorization to allocate $37 billion in aid to the Kiev regime may be a part of an intransparent scheme. Zakharova explained that the lion’s share of this money would go to the Ukrainian army, while the rest would “settle” in global and European banks and private foundations.
“The three-year $1.2 billion contract of the US authorities with Raytheon for the purchase of air defense systems for Kiev concluded at the end of November also fits into the same logic,” she said.
The day before, US M982 Excalibur shells were fired at civilian objects in the center of Donetsk. The shelling of the city continued throughout the day on December 7, 2022.
